Scary Monsters - David Bowie tribute på Ogna Scene

Scary Monsters is a Bergen-based band and one of the few Norwegian bands that exclusively interprets the fantastic musical treasure of David Bowie, an impressive song catalogue that spans most of the pop and rock genre and embraces all eras of pop and rock music.

Scary Monsters pays tribute to David Bowie and his unique music.

"We take the rock approach to David Bowie's musical universe and interpret his music, doing our own versions of the songs," says Frank Hovland. "Bowie fans love Scary Monsters and we take the audience on the whole journey from beginning to end." says Egil Eldøen.

Scary Monsters is:

Egil Eldøen, (vocals) "the voice" of Lava, well established with his solo career and with many album releases on the market

Bjørn Willberg Andersen, (vocals). Known for his countless roles at DNS, where he recently starred in the musical Lazarus by David Bowie.

Frank Hovland, bass, vocals

Zsolt Mezaros, drums. Both known from Chris Thompson's (ex Manfred Mann) touring band.

Lady Albatross, sax/flute

Audun Hasti, guitars, vocals

Roger Sørheim, keyboards. Both are old friends from the Bergen music scene.

A concert with Scary Monsters usually means a packed house and the band will use the time ahead to present themselves to the whole of Norway!

ARE YOU COMING BY TRAIN?

It's not a long walk from Ogna station to Ogna stage (15 min) but with our Shuttle bus service we pick up and bring our fantastic audience members who are going to Ogna Stage at Ogna train station completely free of charge.

We arrange it so that those who take the train from Stavanger will be picked up at 18.50 (approx.)

From Egersund 19.36 (approx.)

And we'll also bring you to the station after the concert.

We want to make it easy and comfortable for you.

NB. We only have one car... If there are many people to be driven, there may be a 5-10 minute wait.
