Sign Language Slam is coming to Stavanger.
The event will be voice-interpreted and is open to both deaf and hearing people, as well as everyone in between (with the exception of the open mic, which is spontaneous and conducted in sign language, so it will not be voice-interpreted). This is an event you won't want to miss! Hosted by Eva and Ipek, along with various guests.
The evening will be filled with poetry, great stories, jokes, laughter, and different sign language games where the audience can play with sign language. Together, we’ll create an evening that surprises, entertains, and spreads massive amounts of joy.
After the show, there will be an open mic where the audience can perform. The bar will be open all evening, serving drinks and snacks.
PS: If you want to read/perform at the open mic, let us know. To give as many people as possible a chance to perform, please only present one piece, lasting a maximum of 3 minutes, unless otherwise agreed. Contact Sign Language Slam for any questions. A warm welcome to all!
