The ballet Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is based on the Brothers Grimm's fairy tale, but in style it resembles a Disney film. The music for the ballet was written by Polish composer Bogdan Pawlowski.

The ballet Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered on the stage of the Taras Shevchenko National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine in Kyiv in 1975. This production was also performed on the stages of Kharkiv, Dnipro and Lviv. It was one of the most popular family performances in Ukraine. We are especially pleased that Ukrainian artists, the leading dancers from the Grand Kyiv Ballet, are bringing this charming fairy tale to life on stage in Scandinavia.
