Team Bachstad på turnè - Haugesund

The popular duo Øystein Bache and Rune Gokstad have been taking TV viewers on a variety of unconventional journeys around the world since 2011. Nine seasons have aired on NRK1 so far. In August, a new adventure with Team Bachstad will take them to Japan, traveling the length of the country! Eight episodes will air in prime time on NRK1.

Now, the audience has the opportunity to experience Team Bachstad "live"! In collaboration with NRK, there's an invitation to a talk-show where the audience will embark on a one-and-a-half-hour journey in real life, filled with humor, film clips, and stories that didn't make it into the TV programs!

The duo, also known for their Christmas and Easter puzzles on NRK, will be at Festiviteten on November 8th.

Their nine seasons on NRK (https://tv.nrk.no/serie/team-bachstad) began with a journey in a vintage fire truck to Mongolia. In the second season, they crossed India horizontally in an auto-rickshaw. Next, they embarked on a journey across the South American continent in a well-used used car!

In season four, they set off on a trip from south to north in Finland on two tiny delivery mopeds. The fifth season was spent in Indochina in a decommissioned Land Cruiser intended for donation to the Norwegian People's Aid in Cambodia.

In season six, they headed eastward. In a 34-foot motorboat, they sailed on rivers from St. Petersburg through Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, across the Black Sea with Istanbul as their destination. Also, in season seven, they traveled by sea when visiting several islands in the Caribbean.

The coronavirus pandemic halted international travel in 2020 – the solution was to traverse Norway from south to north in an electric postal van. The latest season began in Portugal and was supposed to end in Vladivostok, far east in Russia – shortly after departure, the crisis in Ukraine started, and the travel route had to be abruptly changed!
