50 years ago, Astrid Lindgren wrote one of her best and most famous books, The Brothers Lionheart. Teater Manu and Riksteatern Crea are marking the anniversary with a magnificent theatre performance.

The Brothers Lionheart is about two brothers who, after their short lives on earth, are reunited in the Cherry Valley in the fairytale land of Nangijala, a beautiful valley where harmony reigns. Or so it seems. But Nangijala is not as idyllic as you might think, and the two must fight the evil Tengil and the dragon Katla who oppress all the people in the land. Will good triumph over evil? The production is performed by seven actors, with Norwegian Nikolai Schmidt Wisny and Swedish Akad Polus in the leading roles. The director is Swedish Mindy Drapsa, and we can promise a magical set design by Norwegian Christine Lohre, which the audience will remember for a long time.

The production is performed in Norwegian sign language and is voice interpreted.
