The Story of Stavanger - 900 Years in a Brief Moment - Norwegian only
The history of Stavanger began with the construction of the cathedral, moving through the Middle Ages to herring fishing, the age of sailing ships, and the oil era. 900 years of Stavanger life lie behind us. In 2025, we will celebrate the city's first 900 years. But are we, who live in the city today, up to date on its history and development? If you need a quick refresher on the city's past, this autumn's major anniversary revue at Humorhuset Stavangeren is the perfect choice. Here, you'll get the entire history in a brief moment! After this experience, you’ll be well-prepared to face the anniversary year, fully updated on our city.
If you’re primarily looking for two hours of festivity, fun, music, laughter, and joy, then The Story of Stavanger in a Brief Moment is the right choice. Two of the city's comedy legends, Pål Hjelm and Pål Mangor Kvammen, will be joined by revue newcomer Rudi Bjørknes Gundersen to offer a solid dose of pre-Christmas entertainment. The show also features a fine orchestra with five skilled musicians led by the one and only Jan Hauge.
