The Serbian comedy UBI ME KURJE OKO is a story about a small man caught in the whirlwind of World War I, told to an interrogator back in 1945, after the liberation of Belgrade. Andelko, a simple Serbian farmer and our antihero, recounts his adventures in a humorous way—through all the heroic victories from Kolubara and Cer to Thessaloniki and the final triumph. It's a funny comedy of confusion featuring three characters who sometimes collide and sometimes help each other on stage.
