Vrengt is the restless, ambitious, and alternative heir to the Moss rock scene. Over their six-year lifespan, they have garnered praise for their energetic live performances and, in recent years, have played at Trondheim Calling, John Dee, the Student Society in Trondheim during UKA, and at the Lyse Netter Festival.

They are everything you want in an indie band, and they sing in Norwegian! Their sound is often characterized by strong contrasts and unexpected twists. It's a little punk, somewhat pop, fairly noisy, and incredibly catchy. Combined with everyday-philosophical, sometimes socially critical, thought-provoking lyrics and a modest small-town confidence, they bring a refreshing new energy to Norwegian indie rock.

This fall, they will release their second EP – the result of a year-long collaboration with Preben Sælid Andersen (Death By Unga Bunga and Hajk) and Morten Øby (The Lionheart Brothers). They'll celebrate with an intense and noisy small club tour across various stages in Norway!

"With cleverness, idiotic energy, and ambitions far beyond the reach of the Follo line, Vrengt has started to establish themselves nationally, with NRK P3's Urørt as vocal fans. Who knows – maybe the Moss monster will come and bite them in the tail and they'll become 'Østfold's new Bob Hund' or our own little Southern punked The Shins – in Moss dialect... ehh." – Emil Nikolaisen.
