If you organise your next gathering, workshop, or event at Christineborg, you will have plenty of time to focus, create new ideas, or celebrate in a very special way. The sea, the mountains, the weather, and nature surround you on all sides and provide a spectacular backdrop to what is about to happen.
Christineborg has several meeting rooms with large screens and various equipment and a large, open dining room with everything you need for your event or reception. If you need meals for your meeting, packed lunches, breakfast, buffet or a three-course dinner, the chef is ready to give you a delicious experience.
Facilities and accommodation
The main building has a reception, lobby, cosy lounge areas, toilets, dining room, and conference/reception rooms. In the two side wings, there are 29 rooms: 19 double rooms and 10 single rooms.
Activities
The bird mountain is located near the guesthouse and is a popular destination for travellers to Runde. Here, you can join memorable hikes, observe the bird life, and hear fascinating stories from experienced guides. The staff at Christineborg Gjestehus can inform you about the conditions up the bird mountain and knows when the local boat drivers make their rounds around the island.
Another nearby attraction is the Runde Environmental Centre. Among others, this includes parts of the treasure from the Dutch ship “Akerendam,” which sank outside the island in 1725. You can also join a bird safari with a guide who will lead you to the bird mountain.
