Supplies from Sødahlhuset

If you plan to spend a full day in the mountains, be sure to bring enough food. Before you leave Åndalsnes, stop by this cozy little eatery to grab freshly made sandwiches and baked goods. Sødahlhuset is also a great stop after a long and active day in the mountains. If you're lucky, you might even catch a mini-concert or another event here in the evening.

Ski tour!

From the parking lot in Skorgedalen, you're close to fantastic ski touring opportunities! The area is beloved by both experienced mountaineers and new enthusiasts. If it's your first tour, Skarven is a good starting point, or Smørbotntind, which is a slightly longer hike.

Rauma Ski Resort

With three runs and one lift, Rauma Ski Resort isn't particularly large, but it offers great terrain for off-piste skiing. There's also a heated cabin with a café. The ski lift is the starting point for one of the area's most popular mountain ski tours, the route over Strandafjellet.

Strandafjellet in Skorgedalen

ake the lift to the top of Rauma Ski Resort, and you can ski groomed trails for cross-country skiing and mountain skiing over Strandafjellet. Here, you’ll enjoy fantastic panoramic views of Åndalsnes and the Romsdal mountains. There are mountain peaks all around, and the tour offers a beautiful descent in the trail to Ljøsådalen before returning to Skorgedalen.
