Hike to Pollatinden from Hardbakke
From Hardbakke you can either cycle or drive your car to the starting point of Pollatinden. It's about 5 kilometers from Hardbakke Senter to the starting point. If you would like to use public transport you can take the bus from Hardbakke at 09.00 in the morning. The bus will go in return around 10.45. Otherwise, you can use the school bus during the school period.
The hike up to Pollatinden
The hike starts from the road at Pollevika. Here you will find a sign and red-marked stones that will take you to the top. The trip is moderately demanding with a steep climb up the mountain, and will take about 2-3 hours round trip.
At the top of Pollatinden
At the top of Pollatinden, 541 meters above sea level, you get a fantastic view of the westernmost islands in Norway. Here you can sit for hours on beautiful days and enjoy the view. Remember to sign up for turboka.
