Kolumbus, owned by Rogaland County Council, manages bus and speedboat services in the region. The goal is to connect trains harmoniously, cycling, walking and car sharing so that you can easily travel A-Z without your car.
Collaboration with the Norwegian Railway Directorate
In collaboration with the Norwegian Railway Directorate, Kolumbus guarantees a seamless travelling experience in Rogaland. This includes a standardised ticket structure and corresponding departure times between buses and local trains.
Towards fossil-free transport
Kolumbus is committed to offering a completely fossil-free transport system by 2024. The transition to organic HVO diesel, hybrid operation and fully electric vehicles is planned in the years ahead.
