Anvil at Ogna Scene

Anvil is a legendary heavy metal band from Toronto, Canada, formed in 1978.

The band consists of Steve "Lips" Kudlow (vocals, guitar), Robb Reiner (drums) and Chris Robertson (bass, backing vocals). To date, the band has released 20 studio albums, and has influenced many notable heavy metal bands, including Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax and Metallica!

The Canadians released their 20th studio album in June 2024, and with the title "One and Only", they will embark on a tour in autumn 2024. Anvil will forever be remembered as "the unluckiest band in rock n' roll" after the 2008 documentary "Anvil! The Story of Anvil".

If you haven't seen the documentary, it's highly recommended, and if you want to hear real metal icons give you rock n' roll straight from the heart, there's no doubt where you should be when they come to Norway!

ARE YOU COMING BY TRAIN?

It's not a long walk from Ogna station to Ogna Scene (15 min) but with Ogna Scene's Shuttle bus service, they pick up and drop off their amazing audience members who are going to Ogna Scene at Ogna train station for free.

They arrange it so that those who take the train from Stavanger will be picked up at 18.50 (approx.). From Egersund at 19.36 (approx.).

They will also bring you to the station after the concert.

Ogna Scene wants to make it easy and comfortable for you.

NB. They only have one car... If there are many people to be driven, there may be a 5-10 minute wait.
