The trading station at Årbakka, a classic example of a Western Norwegian trading station from 1898, sheltered location on the Onarheimsfjord. Tysnes coastal culture association has a coast- and motor collection in the smithy. Art exhibitions in sjøbuo and sales of handicraft products in the country store.

Architecture and heritage
Årbakkavollen
The Årbakkavollen rampart is situated directly above the old trading post. The rampart dates from the early Iron Age (0-550 A.D.), with the remains of at least 20 burial mounds and six standing stones, between one and three metres tall.
