Aksnes beach is located in Karmøy municipality.

Lie bathing area in Skjold is a child-friendly bathing area with good parking facilities and toilets.

Sandholmen, at Syre. A brief jaunt from the yacht harbour at Syre. The path leads through a little wood to an attractive, natural bathing beach. The ideal place to be on a warm summer's day.

Notaflåt outdoor area is located in Skjoldastraumen, just west of the locks and has a child-friendly beach, sand volleyball court, swimming raft and bathing ramp adapted for wheelchair users.

Tysværtunet Badeanlegg, in Aksdal, offers lovely bathing temperatures all year round. The bathing centre has two pools, one of which is a children's pool, a diving tower, slide and sauna.

Heit Haugesund Sauna is beautifully located by Smedasundet in the centre of Haugesund. Here you get a real wood-fired sauna, and the opportunity to jump into the sea every day of the week.

Kvalsvik bad is a beautiful and developed bathing area in an excellent location.

The beach in Førde has a swimming area and restroom facilities. It is located between the Rhododendron Park Rex Garden and the town center of Førde, and is connected to a network of hiking trails.

Dragavik outdoor recreation area is located in Førresfjorden, about 2 kilometres from Frakkagjerd on the road south towards Høie. Here you will find a shallow beach, lawn, rocks and a jetty.

Sauna with spectacular fjord views, about 1.5 hours from Haugesund and 35 minutes from Odda (Hardanger). Can be combined with accommodation at Åkrafjorden Glamping.

Haraldsvang consists of many hiking trails, varied vegetation, bathing area with diving tower, party venue and playground.

Sandvesanden is one of Karmøy's finest beaches, at Sandve, north of Skudeneshavn. The beach is a popular spot for swimming and surfing.
