How do I get to the day trip cabin?
At the gas station in Naustdal, turn off towards Fv. 611 towards Stavang. After 1.2 km, there are signs for Kringla. The gravel road to Kringla is approximately 3 km and leads to a parking lot for the day trip cabin. If you continue driving, there is a parking fee at the houses on the Kringla farm.

The trail passes the farmyard of Atle Kringlen at Kringla. When traversing this area, it is important to remember to close gates, as there are many livestock in the area. The trail is well-developed, traverses airy surroundings, is marked, and easy to follow. Along the way, you pass Kringlestølane, situated at approximately 550 meters above sea level. Kringlevatnet and the water near the cabin offer great spots for swimming. The trail is somewhat steep at the beginning but levels out after the mountain farm.
The hike is of medium difficulty and takes about 1.5 hours uphill. The distance is 2.4 km one way.
