Nipaståvo is located near Skyggjeberget, along the hiking trail from Stølen in Auklandshamn towards Emberlandsnipen.
Access and useful tips
The trail starts at Stølen and leads through gentle terrain with deciduous and pine forests. It is well-maintained and has a slight incline.
There are some wet sections along the trail, so suitable footwear, such as boots or hiking shoes, is recommended.
The cabin is situated at approximately 170 meters above sea level.
Distance and duration
The hike from the starting point to the cabin is about 2.7 km, and at a leisurely pace, it takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Facilities
Nipaståvo is equipped with a wood stove and electricity. A toilet is also available in connection with the cabin.
