What can I see and experience on a guided tour?
Friendly museum staff in period clothing will welcome you to the Herring Museum. A guided tour promises a unique insight into what life was like in the herring town 150 years ago. You will discover that the lives of the rich and poor were vastly different, and their stories are told through the voices of a servant girl/boy and a mistress of the house.
You can soak up the historic atmosphere and take a look at a number of the buildings on your own.

The museum boasts different types of buildings that depict the living and working conditions in the town that was built on herring fisheries.
