The vineyard is run by Arild Hebnes and Toyni Tobekk in the small village of Hebnes, located at the very tip of the Ropeid Peninsula. Here, you get a fantastic view over the fjord, and on a clear day, you can see all the way to the North Sea. The area has a long history that stretches back over 1,000 years. Among the lush vines, Toyni and Arild will tell us about the region's only commercial vineyard before we head into the production hall for the actual wine tasting.
The tour concludes with a delicious lunch plate featuring seasonal ingredients. If you particularly enjoyed one of the wines, there will be opportunities to buy a glass to accompany your meal.
Day Trip in Beautiful Fjord Landscape
The fjord cruise takes around two hours each way and is an experience in itself. The catamaran takes you through a beautiful fjord landscape, past idyllic islets, old farms, and small villages. Onboard the boat, it will also be possible to purchase local food products, as well as refreshments, beer, and wine.
The boat has large windows and plenty of space on the sun decks.
