This is a very popular round trip that takes you through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Norway. The tour includes train from Voss to Myrdal, a cycling trip down the Flåm valley, a fjord safari with a local guide from Flåm to Gudvangen, and whitewater rafting on a river near Voss.

The Full Pack Fjord Tour starts at the railway station in Voss with the scenic railway journey to Myrdal station. You leave the train at Myrdal and pick up your bike and helmet at Rallaren cafe on the train station. After a short briefing, you are ready to cycle down to Flåm. It is an easy route to cycle, mostly either downhill or flat. If you have luggage with you, it will be taken down by car.

You can also stop and take photos en route. Once down in Flåm, you have about an hour to explore on your own. Flåm is a charming small village surrounded by steep mountainsides, cascading waterfalls and narrow valleys. It is lovely just to stroll around, but you can also visit the Flåm Railway Museum. It is also a nice place to catch a bite to eat before embarking on the fjord safari.

Afterwards, you rendezvous at the quay at 11:40 to get dressed, equipped and register for the fjord safari. There are maximum 12 passengers and a guide in each RIB boat, so it almost feels like you are on a private tour. The boat stops at several places en route and the guide tells interesting stories about the local history of the fjords. You will also have a good chance of seeing some marine wildlife and birds in their natural element, for example seals, harbour porpoises and eagles. On this safari, the boat heads out the Aurlandfjord and up the Nærøyfjord.

The Nærøyfjord is one of the narrowest fjords in Europe. In 2005, the Nærøyfjord was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The safari takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes and ends in Gudvangen.

In Gudvangen, your guide is waiting for you with a minibus to take you to Voss. We enjoy a hot lunch in the restaurant when we arrive at Voss Rafting Centre at 14:15. At about 15.00, you are given information about the rafting trip and are then issued all the equipment you need for rafting. Bring along your swimwear and perhaps also extra underwear to wear underneath the wetsuit, and a towel for the showers afterwards. Because of the whitewater rafting, the lower age limit on this tour is 15.
(For families with younger children, we may be able to replace the whitewater rafting with family rafting on request.)

The rafting is at level 3+ to 4, depending on the water level. You return to Voss Rafting Centre, where you can shower and look at and buy photos from the rafting trip.

From there, you head back to Voss station.
