If you are historically interested, a visit to this previous German fortress from World War II will be interesting to you. The farm requisitioned by the Germans during the war has several visible signs of this today. You will find a large cannon site centrally placed on the farm. The landowners, Merete and Henrik Halleland, have worked with Ryfylke Livsgnist to make a historic play based on events on the farm. You will be witness to a play both serious and humorous, played out by local talents. A guided tour of the tunnels previously used for ammunition storage is of course included. Also - inside the tunnels, the Ryfylke Chef can prepare a meal based on local produce for you to enjoy. The experience must be booked in advance.
