In addition to exploring the fjord by kayak, the trip takes you on a discovery tour along magnificent trails in the Sunnmørsalpene, offering spectacular views of fjords and waterfalls. About the Tour
Accommodation takes place in small, remote villages and farms along the fjord, where participants get to meet the local residents. Evenings are often spent around the campfire before a good and comfortable night's sleep, ensuring everyone is ready and energized for the next day's adventure.
This tour promises unforgettable experiences both in nature and through cultural encounters, and it proceeds as follows:
- Day 1: Departure from Urke Kaihus at 11 a.m., paddling to a roadless village along the fjord.
- Day 2: Hiking in the Sunnmørsalpane.
- Day 3: Visiting Sæbø, Skår, and waterfall excursions.
- Day 4: Exploring the innermost part of the Hjørundfjorden.
- Day 5: Final paddle stretch back to Urke at 4 p.m.

Practical Information
Previous hiking or paddling experience is advantageous but not required for this tour. As long as you are reasonably fit and have a sporty attitude, this hiking and kayaking tour will be perfect for you.
