The guide from Ræin Adventures will take you through the impressive nature around Trollstigen. Breathtaking view, high and peaky mountains, and waterfalls.
Meetingpoint is at Trollstigen, but Ræin will be helpful with transportation from hotels in Valldal if necessary. If you do not need transportation, you will meet the guide at the start of the trail at 10:00 am.
About the trek
- Departure: The tour starts and ends a a bit south if the parking lot by the cafe at Trollstigen.
- The planned trek is in total 3 km round way and have a total of 300 meters of elevation.
- Once you get to Bispevatnet they will find a suitable place to enjoy a classic Norwegian "niste". A traditional local lunch is included.
- After lunch you will return to the car.
- Season: This tour is normally available from 1st of July - 15 of September.
Who is this trek suitable for?
This tour does not have any age limit, but they estimate it being suitable for eveyone above 5 years. Children under 5 years would most likely be carried large parts of the trek. This tour is suitable for everyone who is able to walk on a single track path for 3 hours.
The track is partly on solid mountain (rock), and they recommend shoes with good grip on rocks (Vibram etc.). The trek does not have any exposed sites regarding fear of height.
