This tour takes you through Haugesund's beautiful landscape, historical sites and impressive art installations. The tour visits the following places:
- Haugesund Town Hall - previously voted Norway's most beautiful town hall. Note the special colour of the town hall.
- Steinsfjellet - enjoy panoramic views of the city and surrounding area.
- The art installation ‘The Rising Tide’ - a beautiful sight in the sea gap in Kvalsvik. The sculptures are made by the well-known artist Jason deCaires Taylor.
- Norway's only national monument, Haraldshaugen - the monument erected in memory of Harald Fairhair's collection of Norway.

This tour is suitable for most people. The tour is accessible for people with reduced mobility, but you must be able to get on and off the bus yourself. You can choose how much you want to walk at the stops.

Where is the meeting point for the tour?
If you are joining this tour, the meeting point is at the Viking Adventure booth at the cruise terminal (Garpaskjærskaien on Risøy). This is regardless of whether you arrive by cruise or visit Haugesund in other ways, unless otherwise agreed when booking. Remember to turn up at least 10 minutes before the tour departs.
Conditions for cancellation
For a full refund, please cancel at least 24 hours before your trip. If you come to Haugesund by cruise, Viking Adventure also offers a full refund if the cruise ship does not arrive or the schedule changes significantly.
