When the mountains are covered with a white blanket of snow, we can pull out our snowshoes and march into the hills of Sunnmøre. When the sun shines on the snow-covered mountains the Sunnmøre Alps bathe in pastel colours, and on some clear evenings you can even glimpse the northern lights. Experience fjord views, fairytale forests and fresh snow your next winter adventure.

Tour description

We start from Hotel Union Øye, where you meet your guide. Inside the activity center at the hotel we map out the trip and talk about the plan for the day. If you are missing some essential equipment, we have a small shop at the activity center with the most necessary equipment and clothing. The most important thing is to bring warm enough clothes and enough food for the trip. We recommend bringing a packed lunch from the hotel. The trip itself will be 3 hours, including breaks.

Who is the trip suitable for?

Using snowshoes is an activity that the vast majority of people can take part in, as it requires no prior knowledge. The trip is suitable for both families, couples and groups of friends who want a winter adventure with a focus on good experiences. To create the best experience for you and your group, we tailor private tours that are adapted to the group's wishes and requirements.
