Join Explore Lysefjorden on an early-morning summer hike to the famous Kjerag boulder, where you´ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the spectacular Lysefjord. The three-hour hike features three steep climbs and two shallow valleys. Along the way, relish the small village of Lysebotn and the Lysefjord. The final stretch of two kilometres leading up to the Kjerag boulder is relatively flat, allowing you to take in the stunning natural beauty.

If you dare (and conditions allow), you can stand atop the boulder, which hangs a heart-stopping 984 meters above the fjord. The guide will show you the best viewpoints and how to capture memorable photos of the stunning landscapes that Ryfylke has to offer. After you have enjoyed the scenery, relaxed, and enjoyed a quick lunch, you head back down. It normally takes about three hours to get back down to the parking area.
