You turn off fv. 520, where there are signs for Hustveit, and drive 500 metres to the car park.

Tour description
The tour goes past the museum buildings at Jonegarden. Continue 200 metres past the barn and follow the signs to the left. From there, there is a good climb on an old tractor road, which eventually becomes a path. You will then pass the outdoor barn, Eikelauvet, which was restored in 2014. Cross the bridge over the outlet of Vårstølvatnet lake. You'll soon see the beautiful Gofarskjeggfossen waterfall on your left. Continue up Øykjakleiva, which is a little steep, and continue in easy terrain along the river towards Jonestølen.
