Karin Okkenhaug & Hermund Nygård at Ogna Scene

In the spring of 2021, Karin Okkenhaug contacted drummer Hermund Nygård and asked him if he played anything other than drums. He certainly did - and together they have established a musical friendship, which has led to almost 100 concerts played over the past couple of years. Karin and Hermund have each worked with names such as Bjørn Eidsvåg, The Real Thing, Sharp 9, deLillos, Jarle Bernhoft and Anita Skorgan. They have also played concerts with Silje Nergaard and Hallgrim Bratberg, a concept that saw the light of day at the Winter Jazz Festival in March this year. With more than 40 years in the industry between them, they bring experience and inspiration from different genres such as pop, folk, jazz and improv, and the audience gets to experience a close and playful duo.

ARE YOU COMING BY TRAIN?

It's not a long walk from Ogna station to Ogna Scene (15 min) but with Ogna Scene's Shuttle bus service, they pick up and drop off their fantastic audience members who are going to Ogna Scene at Ogna train station completely free of charge.

They arrange it so that those who take the train from Stavanger will be picked up at 18.50 (approx.). From Egersund at 19.36 (approx.).

They will also bring you to the station after the concert.

Ogna Scene wants to make it easy and comfortable for you.

NB. They only have one car... If there are many people to be driven, there may be a 5-10 minute wait.
