Olavskross
Korssund is an old hospitality centre in the far west of Fjaler municipality, with a rich and exciting history. The town is named after a 4 metre high stone cross that was erected by King Olav the Holy around 1030 during the Christianisation of Norway. The crusher is of the ‘Olavskross’ type, and is one of the largest in the country.
