A Norwegian family business
Mall of Norway´s first store, Saga Souvenir, opened in Flåm, Norway in 1994. The Wangen brothers, Steinar and Torstein, owned 50% of the company and in 1998 they purchased the remaining 50%. Torstein, who turns 82 this year, still works here every day! Today, it´s the two sons of Steinar, Siver, and Kyrre, who run the family-owned company.

During the busiest months of the year, people from all over the world come to work for Mall of Norway, in a fast-paced, fun, and truly international team that works hard to service the estimated 1.4 million visitors to Flåm each year.

The business started out as a souvenir shop, but through high ambitions and hard work, Saga Souvenir grew into a premium stockist of all things Norwegian, and is now called Mall of Norway. We pride ourselves on having something for everyone.

Be it a fridge magnet with an Flåm motif printed on, to locally handmade wool scarves, to Norwegian designer clothing.

Clothings brands at Mall of Norway
Mall of Norway consists of eight stores; three in Flåm, two in Voss, Aurland, Norheimsund, and Ålesund, all located on the west coast of Norway. Our webshop, mallofnorway.com, offers the best selling products from all our stores, and express shipping worldwide.

The flagship store is located in the station building in the heart of the beautiful Flåm. It covers more than 700 square meters, and is one of Norway’s largest. In 2018, the operating revenue of Saga Souvenir AS (the legal company name), was more than 7 million euros, and the business is growing steadily.
