A paradise for outdoor activities - All year Midtfjellet Windpark is one of the biggest of its kind in Norway, with its 44 windmills. With a fantastic infrastructure of roads, the mountain os now easily accissible for hiking, cycling and offroad cycling, mountain race, cross country, fishing trips and familiy excursions in beatufiul sorroundings. The scenes with the majestic windmills makes it unique and special.

Hiking, offroad cycling, but also for families and people with a disability The road in Midtfjellet windpark is suitable for walking/hiking and off road cycling and cycling on gravel road. The gravel road makes it easy for wheelchair users and families with trolley. There are activities and arrangements in Midtfjellet during the year - announced on ther Facebook page.
Location - start and stopping point
The windpark you can reach through many paths around in Fitjar. The easiest accesible way is to drive to the park by the main road. Take off from RV545 by Rimbareid, about 1,5 km south from Fitjar centre.
The road up to the parking is asphalted. The parking takes about 100 cars. From the parking, you can walk straight into the 27 km long gravel road. The road between the windmills are marked with numbers.
