Experience Myrdal Gård (farm) on Tysnes

Located on Tysnes, south of Bergen, Myrdal Gård (farm) produces award-winning cheeses made from both goat’s milk and cow’s milk. During spring and summer, you can visit the farm shop and restaurant.

Authentic cheese crafted with tradition

At Myrdal Gård, Jasper and Nynke combine their love for Norwegian nature with traditional Dutch expertise. They merge the renowned Dutch cheesemaking tradition with the finest local ingredients to create something special.

In their dairy, they produce a variety of cheeses—spiced and unspiced—using meticulously tested recipes under ideal aging conditions. Myrdal cheeses have won multiple medals at the Cheese World Championship and are sold nationwide. Here, you’ll find cheese with bold flavors and an exquisite texture!
