Nils Petter Molvær - solo

Trumpeter legend, composer and producer Nils Petter Molvær with solo concerts.

For almost four decades he has been a central voice in Norwegian jazz. First as part of the band Masqualero, which was formed in 1982, and later as a solo artist. His real breakthrough came with the album Khmer, where he mixed jazz and electronica in a way that had never been done before and thus changed the direction of Norwegian jazz. He is one of the leading voices in the international jazz movement and tours all over the world.

It would be wrong to write that Molvær is "just" a trumpet player. He has his own musical universe in the data pack he carries around with him. And even though the trumpet is always there, and is handled with loving hands, it is via the control panel that he operates with his left hand and the three or four pedals that he controls with his feet that he fills in the unique trumpet sound in a way that cannot be compared to anything else.

In Molvær's world of improvisation, there is no room for pause. It's a musical journey with a start and an end! That's exactly what you can experience here - welcome to an hour-long journey through Molvær's unique universe!

Inger Marie has released six critically acclaimed albums

Her debut album "Make this Moment" was recorded exactly 20 years ago. It was a huge success and was released in 25 countries. Since 2005, she has toured and given concerts at home, in Europe and not least in Asia. She has done several tours in China, Japan and a total of over 20 concert tours in South Korea.

This winter she released her 6th solo album "Five Minutes", which was produced by Espen Lind, known from The Voice.

Inger Marie has her feet firmly planted in melodious jazz, with a sound that blends with pop. She has her own sound, and interprets and communicates the repertoire she chooses with originality and character.
