Passenger boat between Stavanger and Lysebotn

Visit multiple destinations in Lysefjord by boat departing from Stavanger. On Saturdays and Sundays, Rødne Fjord Cruise takes you through the majestic fjord landscape with several stops along the way. You'll find experiences both during the journey and at your destination.

Several stops on the way to Lysebotn

The boat makes stops at Lauvvik and Oanes docks before continuing deeper into the Lysefjord. Sailing past the majestic Preikestolen in its beautiful surroundings, the trip continues to Songesand.

The next stop on the route is the idyllic Flørli - a roadless community offering a mixture of nature experiences and other activities. Are you planning a day trip to Flørli and want to climb the world's longest wooden staircase with 4,444 steps?

Onward, you can catch a glimpse of the Kjerag boulder hanging 1,000 meters high above the fjord before heading to the last stop at the innermost part of the Lysefjord, Lysebotn. Here, you can take a bus and experience the popular tourist route, Lysevegen, with its 27 sharp hairpin turns as you ascend to the high plateau. At the top, (640 meters above sea level), you'll find the Øygardstøl viewpoint and the starting point for the hike to Kjerag, the highest mountain in the Lysefjord.
