Sand safari - hike

Sand safari is an exciting activity trail that is perfect for families. Forty ‘Sand safari’ signs take you through the whole of Sand, the administrative centre of Suldal municipality, with fun stops and experiences en route. Various QR codes have been posted along the route where people who have previously lived in the area provide accounts of what life was like in the 19th and 20th century. The walk offers first-hand experiences of the fjord, river, waterfalls, historical buildings and rural life.
