Åkrafjorden Nature offers guided snowshoe tours, a perfect winter activity, from 15 December to 15 April. You can choose between a 2-3 hour tour or a 5-6 hour tour. A common feature of the tours is that they take place in steep terrain, so you need to be in good physical shape.
Practical information:
- You must bring suitable winter clothing such as woollen underwear, wind/rainproof outerwear, hat, mittens and good winter shoes. Also bring some food and drink and extra clothes in a small backpack.
- Åkrafjorden Nature provides snowshoes and poles.
