Park at the chapel in Hellandsbygd and follow the road to the transformer. Follow the tractor road until you come to an old path that is also known as the ‘German path’, as it was used by the Germans during WW II, up to Spelhustoppen. The history of power development in the area is set out on numerous signs along the way. The trolley line and winch house at the top are well preserved, and you are rewarded by panoramic views of Hellandsbygd.
