Ullandhaug organic farm and Jeranldergården iron age farm lie to the north. Stavanger botanic garden is a colourful corner of a part of the city rich in interesting places to visit. Bring a picnic and enjoy the views over the garden and beyond from a bench or on the lawn. The garden includes a herb garden, vegetable garden, medicinal plants, perennial beds, the alpine collection and the geographic garden with plants from around the world.

The garden is always open and entrance is free. A public toilet is available.

Access: Stavanger botanic garden is situated on the slopes of Ullandhaug between Ullandhaug tower and the university.

By bike and on foot: Signed from Stavanger city centre and surrounding areas. Follow the signs to Stavanger botaniske hage or Hulda Garborgs Hus (University).

By bus: routes 6, 7 and X60, from Stavanger city centre  to Stavanger University (UiS), route 7 from Sola to Stavanger University (UiS) and X60 from Sandnes to Stavanger University (UiS). 3 minutes walk to the garden, across the road from Hulda Garborgs Hus on Rektor Natvig Pedersensvei.

By car: Follow the signs for Stavanger botaniske hage and park at Ullandhaug tower.
