Meeting places in central Molde
The seafront is a continuous harbor promenade in the heart of Molde. Along the seafront, there are several cafés and restaurants with outdoor seating. The town square connects the seafront with the existing Town Hall Square and is one of Molde's key public spaces.
The square is an open gathering place for concerts, market stalls, and activities. Together, the square and the seafront offer a good selection of meeting spots, a water channel, a reflecting pool, and art that invites play. There are steps leading down to the water’s edge. Maybe you'll dip your toes in the sea on a warm summer day?
Playgrounds, Molde sea bath & Seafront fitness park
On the seafront, you'll also find Molde Sea Bath with amenities like a diving board, steps down to the water, wooden piers for sunbathing and seating, toilets (for a fee), and an outdoor shower. The floating sauna, Nausta, is also available for booking, allowing you to use the sea bath all year round.
The seafront fitness park is unmanned and open to everyone. Children must use the equipment with an adult. There are also two playgrounds along the seafront where kids can have fun.
