For more than 40 years ago an oval circle suddently appeared on a field on the island Espevær next to Bømlo.
Still, no one have been able to solve the question about how the circle appeared. There have been theories about what could have made this circle, for instance children, motorbikes, mushrooms, and even rabbits.
Many think that an UFO made this oval circle.
Hike to the UFO-circle
You can go by foot to the ring. It is a very nice walk and takes approximately 15-20 mins. NB! Wear good shoes for walking. It may be slippery and wet. By the ring you will find tables and benches. It is a nice area to sit down and relax.
