Uadalen ancient monument area is the remains of a farm from the older and younger Iron Age (200-900 AD). You'll find parking at rest area by E39, 5 min from Vikseå in a northerly direction. Here you will find a marked path that goes through the forest, over a river and over to the other side of the lake. On the meadow you will find clear remains of two farms with a total of six houses, built with wooden walls inside and outer walls of stone. This is one of the country's largest farm complexes from the Iron Age. The farm shared about 160 acres of common infield. You will also find clearing piles and burial mounds.
