Remember to bring money for the toll. Please close all gates behind you. One alternative can be to follow the path further along the west side of lake Børsstølsvatnet to Fjellhaugen Ski Center. The hike to Vikastølen is also an exciting trip on skis.

Overview

There is a good and clear path in easy terrain approx. 2.5 km from the upper parking lot north to Vikastølen. The path follows the power lines. The path divides below the Stølshaugen. Turn right to Vasstølen or continue straight to Vikastølen. A simple bridge crosses the river just south of Stølsvatnet. This is a hike that is rich in experiences for both children and adults, up close with the beautiful landscape of Åkra, including the surrounding wilderness and moutain areas.
