If you take the trip up the steep stairs in the old lighthouse from 1876 (entrance fee), your will reach a nice height and be rewarded with a vast view of the ocean. At the entrance, you will find pictures and the history of the lighthouses you will see from above. In the stairwell, on your way to the top, you can enjoy a unique art exhibition donated by the renown Norwegian artist Ørnulf Opdahl, who lives on Godøya island. Some of the most beautiful painting he has made are found here – enjoy your time!
