Visit the marble mines in Bergtatt

In the marble caves of Bergtatt, you’ll embark on a raft journey through the caves, illuminated by magical lighting, and at the end of the journey, the raft docks. Here, you can taste pure spring water drawn directly from the rock wall.

As you continue, you’ll be mesmerized by the mirror-like water before reaching the concert hall. A video about the mines' history and the work ongoing since 1938 is shown here. Experienced miners share their knowledge and answer questions during both the boat ride and in the concert hall. In other parts of the mountain, mining is still in progress, but these caves serve as a unique concert venue and an exciting tourist attraction.
