About the Tour
Join a walk through the historic seaside village of Hjelmelandsvågen, known for its charming white wooden houses and narrow alleys, which have earned it the designation of a "Cultural Environment of National Interest." During the tour, you'll hear the fascinating story of the Viking treasure at Sæbø, visit the 150-year-old Spinneriet, and conclude with the dramatic tale of the terrifying night in 1940 when the flood swept away much of the town center into the sea.
