800 metres from Haugesund city centre is the island of Vibrandsøy where you will find Villa Vibrandsøy. Vibrandsøy consists of 5 islands, most of which are connected by footbridges. The island is not landlocked and has no roads, but is easily accessible by boat/canoe/kayak and by scheduled boat. Vibrandsøy is green and lush with sheltered bathing bays and a long shoreline.
The main building has a well-equipped kitchen and two living rooms. One living room has several dining tables and the other is furnished with sofas and seating areas. The entire ground floor is wheelchair accessible. The main house has five bedrooms with a total of 18 beds, the outbuilding has two bedrooms with five beds in each room. There are a total of 28 beds at Villa Vibrandsøy. There is also a separate wet room area with four bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink. Villa Vibrandsøy is not suitable for dogs, and dogs are not allowed inside the cabin. It is possible to provide cover for approximately 35-40 people indoors.
Villa Vibrandsøy is locked, you will receive information about the key in an email after booking. When staying at Villa Vibrandsøy, you must bring your own bed linen/sheet bag. The cabin is unattended, i.e. all food must be brought with you. The house has been recreated as a venerable villa by Haugesund Tourist Association.
There are many opportunities for outdoor activities, with great areas for canoeing and kayaking, recreational fishing, swimming and hiking. In the centre of the island is Matlaug, a lagoon-like area with shallow beaches that invite you to explore the shoreline and catch crabs, shrimps and stingrays.

Vibrandsøy can be reached by private boat or scheduled boat. It is important to note that not all departures stop at Vibrandsøy, so read the timetable carefully and book your ticket in advance. Transport can also be booked directly with Haugesund Taxibåt. There is a guest jetty on the island, in Løvågen.
