Vibrandsøy consists of 5 islands, most of which are connected by footbridges. The island is not landlocked and has no roads, but is easily accessible by boat/canoe/kayak and by scheduled boat. Vibrandsøy is green and lush with sheltered bathing bays and a long shoreline. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, with great areas for canoeing and kayaking, leisure fishing, swimming and hiking.

The main building has a well-equipped kitchen and two living rooms. One living room is furnished with several dining tables, while the other is furnished with sofa and seating areas. The house also has its own wet room area with four bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink.
