Library Park
The Public Library is a popular place to visit for families with children. It boasts its very own obstacle course for children, a slide, as well as a reflection pool and fountains. There’s plenty of seating in the park, and you can also borrow a picnic blanket and a range of outdoor toys from the library, such as badminton, croquet and ring toss sets.
Climbing frame at Bytunet
North of the town's shopping street Haraldsgata is another fun place for families to visit. The kids can explore the large climbing frame while you enjoy a cup of coffee from Totalen.

You'll find a whole range of delicious cupcakes in the town's most colourful building! Children (and adults) are guaranteed to find something they like.

Haraldsvang playground is about a 30-minute walk from Haugesund town centre. The playground is situated in a lovely area for walks and is also close to a great spot for swimming.
