Visit Byparken town park north of the town centre
On the way to Haraldsvang, it's worth visiting the town park to the north of the town centre. The pavilion in the park was designed by the architect Einar Halleland and was completed in 1912.
Meet the very own Harald Fairhair
Harald Fairhair, the king who unified Norway into one kingdom, stands at Havnaberg gazing across the strait. The statue is a popular place to take photos and is well worth a stop on your journey.
Stop and enjoy the view from the top of Lotheparken park
On the way to Haraldsvang, it’s nice to go via the top of Lotheparken, which offers amazing views of the town and the ocean to the west.
Don’t miss the iconic diving tower in Vangen
It’s an absolute must to visit the very symbol of Haraldsvang: the Diving Tower. Haraldsvang is a popular swimming spot in the summer, and the diving tower is very popular among the bravest swimmers! Would you dare to jump from the 10-metre platform?
Fun for children at the playground in Vangen
There’s a children's playground in the middle of Haraldsvang. There are plenty of places to sit next to the playground and there are also public toilets.
Treat yourself to an ice cream or something to eat at Vangenterassen cafe (note: opening hours vary)
Vangenterassen is a café in the middle of Haraldsvang that serves food, drinks and ice cream on fine summer days. The cafe opens sporadically throughout the year, so check their Facebook page for opening hours.
