Experience Smøla’s archipelago from the sea. Smøla has thousands of islets and skerries, and in fact, it accounts for one-third of the entire coastline of Møre and Romsdal. Here are some suggestions for how to get close to the archipelago.

Smøla Kajakk

With Smøla Kajakk, you can join daily guided tours to Veiholmen or rent a kayak at Steinsøysundet. This is where you get up close to the islands, and Anders and Kristine have plenty of great tips on where to paddle.

Summer café at Smøla Kajakk

Every summer, Smøla Kajakk opens its café at Steinsøysundet. Here, you can enjoy coffee drinks, homemade cakes, and simple lunch options. The café is housed in a charming old barn with a lovely outdoor seating area. Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00–17:00, from June 29 to August 4.

Walk to Måøya along the coastline

End your day with a stroll along the coastline. The walk to Måøya can be a loop, or you can choose to go to the hiking post and return. The view is stunning, with plenty of sea and sky. The walk is suitable for both children and adults.
